I was 6 days late, I started bleeding but it stopped the next morning then it was a brown discharge and now nothing, no bleeding or discharge. What could it be?

If you are sexually active, it's possible you may be pregnant. A pregnancy test would confirm this. Otherwise, your period may still show.
