Hi Anonymous,
If I understand your question correctly, the top of your teeth are sore or ache. The important thing I noticed in your explanation is that when you are stressed you press your tongue to the roof of your mouth. This will certainly cause pain to your teeth. Do you also do this in your sleep? Do you ever wake up with a sore jaw as well?
Many people (including myself) are teeth grinders while they sleep. This will cause pain to your teeth, jaw and even damage your teeth. From your explanation, this appears to be your situation and I don't think this has to do with a heart problem.
The best thing to do is make a dentist appointment. Dentists can make what they call "night guards" which protect your teeth during stressful times or while you sleep. This should resolve your pain.
Please let me know if this helps.
