My boyfriend went to a friends party they had strippers and he got a lap dance with one of the girls and she was naked. He had basketball shorts and boxers on and he said she grabed his penis with her vagina through his pants and after some more grinding his pants were soaking wet, not from him but from her. He said he didn't have sex with her and that his penis never came out of his pants. He says he immediately got up and stopped her when he felt his pants wet. This party was a few months ago and I just recently found out about this only because he was having pain in his testicles and when he went to the doctor they told him he had epididymitis. I had recently been feeling like I had a uti and have a doctors appointment tomorrow. My question is is there any possible way all this is from the so called dance he got from that stripper? Can you get an STD through your basketball shorts from her body fluids soaking your pants or would there have had to be actual sex or body to body contact?

Hi Anon,

You can get an STI by having intimate sexual contact with someone who already has the infection. You can’t tell if a person is infected because many STIs have no symptoms. But STIs can still be passed from person to person even if there are no symptoms. STIs are spread during vaginal, anal, or oral sex or during genital touching. So it’s possible to get some STIs without having intercourse. Not all STIs are spread the same way.

Daisy

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Sexually transmitted infections STIs, particularly gonorrhea and chlamydia, are the most common cause of epididymitis.  Boys, older men and homosexual men are more likely to have epididymitis caused by a nonsexually transmitted bacterial infection. For men and boys who've had urinary tract infections or prostate infections, bacteria may spread from the infected site to the epididymis.

It's important to speak to your doctor about this and explain the symptoms you are having.  It might had been transmitted from your boyfriend and it's important for you and him to get checked.

Thank you for your response. Would there be anyway he could have gotten gonorrhea or chlamydia from his basketball shorts being soaked with this girls body fluids. Is that even possible for it to go through?
