Hi! My gf and I have had protected sex (did not ejaculate inside her) 1 week before her period and she got her period exactly the day it is suppose to be. Lighter than but still lasted around 5-6 days. Few days after her period ended she got spotting. But the spotting almost got her panty liner full. And still bleed a little after the day. Other symptom is her nipple is sore. Why is this happening? Is she having her ovulation period?

Hello John Tan,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us for help.

I do not know why your girlfriend started to have spotting after she finished her period or why she is having sore nipples.

It would be too early in her new menstrual cycle, unless she has a very short menstrual cycle to be ovulating. Ovulation happens mid cycle, about 2 weeks after the last day of the previous period.

She should contact her gynecologist who is the best person to diagnosis why this is happending.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello John Tan,

From what you shared, no, I do not see the possibility of being pregnant.
