Q:

Pee is hot?

So I've noticed within the past two days my pee has been very hot (I can feel a little burn from the heat) when I urinate. My body has been acting weird. First, pelvic and stomach pains which resulted in diarrhea and nausea. Dehydration and not being able to urinate. Now it seems that it burns when I pee. I can also feel and hear obnoxiously loud gurgling in my upper and lower abdomen and lower pelvic area. Can you enlighten me as to what might be going on?

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.

The burning sensation or "hot" feeling you are experiencing are symptoms of a yeast infection.  Yeast infections usually go away on their own, or you can get medication for it.  Drinking a lot of water does help a great deal.

Your abdominal pain is probably not related to the yeast infection, however you may have food poisoning, food allergy, or stomach flu.

There are over the counter drugs for the nausea.  You can also try tea with strong ginger because ginger reduces nausea.  I also suggest that you avoid alcohol, breads, dairy and processed foods.

If the diarrhea continues for an extended amount of time, see a doctor!

I have also been drinking a lot more water to re-hydrate myself. So I know it's not because I'm not drinking enough water.
