I am 33 and I have been ttc for 3 months now. I have a 3 year old and after stopping bf I went on the pill because of endometriosis. Since coming off the pill ive been temping and have ovulated. This month I was 6 days late with temps staying elevated. On day 7 my temp dropped about 1 degree and I started spotting very lightly. The next day the bleeding increased but only nearly filling a pad in 24hrs. Then it started getting lighter. I've taken several pts and they are all negative. WHAt is going on? Should I be worried about mc or ectopic ?

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about this late and lighter than normal period.
with a history of endometriosis and the fact that you have been trying to conceive, please contact your gynecologist about this. Knowing your history, and with the ability to do an exam and any necessary blood tests, your doctor can tell you what is going on.

Ok so I followed up with my doc. They did an ultrasound and blood work. The nurse called me today to tell me that I didn't ovulate. I'm a little confused because I did have a temperature shift/rise and ewcm. Is that possible?

Hello Amycakes,
Thank you for the follow-up.
I want to share this with you from the website, justmommies.
"Some women will have an increase in LH which shows up as a positive ovulation test and have fertile cervical mucous, but then because of stress, illness or some other factor, not actually ovulate."
What is confusing is that you did experience a temperature shift.
