Hello and thank you for sharing your question,
Even though it is not necessarily normal to have a one day period, it does not signify anything dangerous either.
Discharge is the normal way the vagina eliminates waste. Abnormal discharge is green or dark yellow, and is usually accompanied by a foul odor and/or itching and burning. In that case you could have an infection or STD.
Cramping and lower back pain is a normal symptom of PMS while on your period. It is only abnormal if you experience the pain at any time.
If you have any of the symptoms that signify an abnormality you should see a doctor to receive diagnosis and treatment.
