is it common for you to start your period when you are only on your second week of your birth control?

Guide

Hello soccergirl11,
If this is your first time taking birth control and your regular period was supposed to be during that time, then this would make sense.
However, if you have taken birth control pills for a few months now, and always had your period at the proper time, then this is not normal and you should see your doctor.
Also if you are having your period less than 25-28 days apart then there could be something more serious going on.
