Please Help! Daily Calorie Intake Issues

I'm quite confused right now. I'm female, sixteen years old, 108 pounds and 5'1" in height. If I exercise 45 minutes a day, what's my ideal calorie intake supposed to be? And what about if I exercise 2 hours a day? I've tried so many online calculators, and they only confuse me.

Hi Sardony,

Thanks for the additional information. How much weight are you trying to lose? I am curious as your 5'1 and 108 lbs which is an ideal weight and a healthy weight.

Thanks for the additional information.

Not much, I had already lost 12 pounds recently, and I'm only trying to lose a couple more pounds or so. My greater goal as of the moment is to boost my metabolism and improve my muscle strength.

Hi Sardony,

Thank you for your question. The calculators will be more helpful then I can unfortunately. Your calorie intake depends if you are trying to lose weight, gain weight or maintain your weight. Your working outs also cannot be determined by us as we can only assume how many calories you are burning.....this is not an exact science. For example, if you run you will burn more calories than if you jog.....

Does this help? Perhaps you can seek assistance from a nutritionist if you are concerned. Hope this helps.

Thank you for taking time with my issue. I really appreciate it. For the information of the other members of this site though, I'd say I'm trying to lose weight. As for the exercise, by 45 minutes I meant 45 minutes of low intensity strength training using 2 1lb. dumbells (this includes warm-up and cool down) and by 2 hours I meant 1 hour of light jogging, warm-up, cool down and the same 45-minute strength training routine I mentioned above.
