I am 15 and my period has always been regular. Every single month for 2 years. Recently, I started drinking. I didn’t drink a lot, but I’ve never drank a as much much before. I’ve had around 5 beer cans in a month and a few glasses of champagne. I was not drunk ever, but I was tipsy some times. Since that, my period came a week early and was heavy and long. Only 6 days after, I got my period again now and my cycle was 15 days!!! I am very worried. Is this connected to drinking? I had no major stress recently, but I have a lot of work at school and I sleep less than usual, but sleep has never affected my cycle. I am really scared. What should I do? Will my period stabilize again? I’ve also noticed that my urine is very yellow no matter how much water I drink.

Hello, Victoria_79. Thank you for posting.

In this age group, periods can be irregular from time to time, but stress impacts the menstrual cycle as well. You should not be drinking at your age or drinking as much as you are. Your period should stabilize, but If you are still concerned, see your doctor.
