possibly pregnant?

Hi, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 6th day of my cycle, which normally lasts for 25 days (my period has ended the day before). We slept several times during the same night, he ejaculated outside each time, but shortly after each orgasm we would start having sex again. What are the chances of getting pregnant in this way? My period is due next week, i just can't wait to see if i'll miss it or not.. i just realized i really want a baby!

Hi Anonymous,

This could be a sign of ovulation as your symptoms would suggest so. As mentioned above, if you are trying to get pregnant...this would be a good time to give it a try.

Hope that helps.

Hi Rosa, hi Missie,

i just wanna give you an awesome update! WE DID IT!!
1st month ttc :) and knowing when my ovulation was (i feel it), well... we really did it the 1st night we stopped using condoms.. so yes, it can happen if you "mess around" 5 days before the ovulation with no ejaculation!

I am 4 weeks 5 days along now and wow... we just came to know it and are just flying on the other planet, so fingers crossed it all goes right in this 1st three delicate months!!

thank you for your support girls!!

Hi Rosa,
sorry to bother you again - i have noticed a change in my vaginal discharge today - it is milky white, sticky, odorless.. and quite acidic for my standards. I am not itchy at all, and it doesn't look like a yeast infection at all.

does the vaginal acidity increase in early pregnancy? normally i don't have any discharge a week before my period.
maybe i'm paranoid but this is something new.

thanks!

Hi Rosa,

Thanks again for your feedback - I will talk to my boyfriend but without putting pressure on him. It is still kind of hard for me to take that dare, as i am a bit shy, but i think it's time. Anyway i will keep you posted on the current situation.
Thanks!

Hi Anon,

Any time you have unprotected sex you are at risk of getting pregnant regardless of whether he ejaculates inside or outside because of pre-cum which can occur at any time during sex.

Does your boyfriend want a child? You sound young--- you may want to talk to him about this first and see if he also wants children with you and if you are prepared for it.

Good Luck,

Rosa

Hey Rosa,
could be that the over-excitement made me sound childish - I am 28 and my boyfriend is 29. And I know he wants to have children with me, we already spoke about this when talking about future, just that we haven't said openly to each other yet that the time is NOW. Normally we use condoms, this was not our usual thing but we both silently agreed for it, over and over again.
And regarding the pre-cum - i am sure there was some, he always has it, even if we're only making out.
Guess it is time for us to have the baby talk, regardless of the current outcome... I just have no clue on how to start that conversation, and confess those feelings and instincts. I am sure he has them, too, but I just don't know how to approach it openly. Any tips on this, please?
