i am 4 days late on my period and took a test last night that came out negative then took another test this morning that came out negative. i am trying to get pregnant but i stopped taking my birth control about a month ago.

Did you test with an early response pregnancy test? Disregard the first test. For the most accurate result, you should test in the morning. Use the first urine of the day when you wake up and use the bathroom. It is concentrated while urine throughout the day is dilute because of drinking fluids.
If you have not gotten a period for one month, contact your gynecologist, who can order a blood pregnancy test to confirm a pregnancy.
