Pregnancy HCG level dropped

My LMP was feb 18 and had a positive hpt on April 6. However, I had slight bleeding a week before I decided to take the test. Doc ran HCG tests first one 1328 next one 48 hours later 1986 and then 96 hours later dropped to 1683. I just went in for a peace of mind check becasue I was having terrible cramps w/o bleeding and was nervous about a miscarriage, doc couldn't see a sac on her ultrasound machince and said after two more weeks she wants me to go to H to do a transvag U/S if bleeding hasn't started. One more bit of information that may help...when I was pregnant with our first the doc told me that I wouldn't beable to conceive without using fertility drugs because my progesterone was so low, at the time of that test it acutally turned out that I was already pregnant with a healthy baby boy who is now 6 years old I never had to use the fertility drugs! Could this be related HCG and low progesterone levels??

Hi bree23,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  You need to discuss with your doctor your results and since he has your medical history.  He will be able to let you know if it's due to the low progesterone.  You will also need to wait until they do your vaginal ultrasound.  Which will confirm if you are indeed pregnant.
