Q:

Pregnancy! Maybe?? TTC

Okay so on the 21st of August, I stopped taking my birth control pills. I had 5 active pills left. 3 days later, I began to have a period. I bled for four days, had cramps and all that just like my other periods. I began having unprotected sex with my fiance after the bleeding stopped. I had what I think was cervical mucous come out three days ago. It came out in a clump and was clear for the most part but had streaks of blood on it. I am just wondering if maybe that was a sign of something? I know that happens when you ovulate but I didn't know if the blood on it was implantation blood maybe? But I haven't had any other mucous or discharge since that one time.

Hi CatMouse3356,

The clear bloody cervical mucous, can be from the hormones level changes from the pill or pregnancy. You need to confirm first if you are pregnant.  By taking a pregnancy test or seeing a doctor.

I will. I am also beginning to feel very fatigued and have been having some pain in my uterus area, not unbearable, but enough for me to notice it. I've also been peeing more than usual, like 5 to 7 times a day rather than 3 or 4 times a day. My period is due to start in 6 days.

Hi CatMouse3356,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Anytime you have unprotected sex your chances of becoming pregnancy are higher.  You might need to take a pregnancy test, to know if indeed you are pregnant.

Best,

Daisy
