hello, i am taking yaz birth control and i have been for almost 2 years. i only missed one pill in that time and i didn't have sex when i did, but the other night i had sex and forgot to take my pill that night so i took it when i got up and remembered (which was about 14 hours later) and to top that off, i forgot to take my pill the next night after that. is there a chance of pregnancy?

You don't have to justify missing pills---it can happen! Unfortunately, every cycle is its "own" cycle, so even if you have never missed a pill for the previous two years, missing two pills in one cycle can increase your risk for pregnancy.

Missing one pill does not increase your chance of pregnancy when you take it as soon as you remember. Since you missed two pills in-a-row (and I assume you took the second one as soon as you remembered?), then there is an increased chance of pregnancy (the pill is 99% effective at preventing pregnancy, and when you miss pills, it decreases its effectiveness). Your increased risk is most likely low, since you took your first pill the next day.
