Question on the period cycle

Instead of the normal 28 days, I only go 23 days. However, recently I've been only going around 14 days, having 3 periods within a 6-7 week time period. I thought the 23 days was a bit off but now it's even a shorter time?? I was thinking of taking birth control pills just to keep it regulated since I know I've been under a lot of stress. Is this something that I should see a doctor over?

Dear HLynn87,

Please see a doctor about this. Having your period every 14 days can leave you anemic due to the excessive loss of blood. Please let us know what your doctor says.

Thanks and Good Luck!
