Hi, Anon.

Thank you for your message.

Hypotension is the medical term for low blood pressure (less than 90/60). A blood pressure reading appears as two numbers. The first and higher of the two is a measure of systolic pressure, or the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats and fills them with blood.

What's considered low blood pressure for you may be normal for someone else. Most doctors consider blood pressure too low only if it causes symptoms. I'd mention the low reading(s) to your doctor even if you are not having symptoms, just for your peace of mind.
