Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community!

Leukorrhea is a kind of white, yellow or green vaginal discharge that can occur during pregnancy as well as certain times during your menstrual cycle. Its consistency can be thick and sticky, and it can vary as a women’s hormone levels change during her menstrual cycle.

This vaginal discharge can be common for many women, so it is fine to continue having sex and/or mastrubating. However, I recommend scheduling an appointment with your OB/GYN to ensure that your Leukorrhea is normal. Also, if you are having sex, definitely talk to your partner about your Leukorrhea, and consider using a condom if your partner is worried about the infection.

I hope this has helped! Let me know if you have further questions.
Best,
Erin
