Silica Supplements for Hair Health?

I heard a rumor that taking silica supplements will help with the health of your hair and growing it out. Is this true or just a myth? I already take Biotin supplements daily to help grown my hair long as well as strengthen my nails and it seems to be helping. Is there anything else that may work better?

Try not washing your hair as often and be cautious of using heating products as little as possible. Sometimes I look on Pinterest for new ways to wear my hair up and stick to the classic sock bun which looks even better with dirty hair. During the week you should also think about washing your hair and then just putting it back in a ponytail wet. All things that help hair get healthy, which will make it grow :)
