Before my period I experience pain in my breast upper part next to my armpit. When I felt it it was very tender and decided to feel my right arm pit too because it also feels tender then I felt a tender very soft lump. After two days the pain disappear but the the lump in my armpit remained still very soft but not tender. Is this something serious? Pls help

Guide

Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
The lump could be caused by a swollen/tender lymph node. Causes can include infection, or allergies. In women it can potentially be an indicator of breast cancer, which is why it is wise to see a doctor to determine to nature and cause of the lump.
If the lump is benign, you do not need treatment. If it is caused by allergies or infection the doctor may prescribe a treatment.
