Spotting in between cycles

Lately I've been noticing a small spot of blood in my underwear in between cycles. I've also noticed that the spotting is always in the same spot everytime. One day when I noticed the bleeding again, I did a little self exam and saw wear it was coming from. The bleeding is coming from outside the vagina on the side of my labia majora. I didnt see any cuts or bumps, but I did see a tiny bit of blood (a little smaller than a dime) in the area. The bleeding usually happens when I get wet in some way (shower, swimming, etc). However it occurs randomly from time to time. Also, I'm 21 years old and a virgin and have had no sexual contact with anyone. I NEED HELP! Thanks:)

Hello. Thanks for posting.

Occasional spotting between periods can happen for women of all ages. Spotting can occur for many reasons, ranging from normal to abnormal.  Some common causes can be stress, infection, or a hormonal imbalance.   If it continues, see your doctor for an examination.
