I missed almost a week of birth control starting September 13 I missed 2 light blue pills and my first 3 dark blue pills because I misplaced them . I ended up coming on my period September 17 , 4 days earlier than expected . I guess because I missed those pills having irregular periods , I ended up bleeding again on September 24 for 6 days longer than my usual 4-5 days . I wasn't pregnant because I hadn't had sex in a month . Back to taking my birth control regularly , I ended up having unprotected sex October 4 but he did not ejaculate in me . I'm just a little worried because I've been cramping a little ( my next period isn't until the week of October 20 ) , I missed almost a week of active pills but really I feel like without being on active pills for 2 weeks prior to having unprotected sex it was still a mistake .

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  If you missed taking your birth control pills and had unprotected sex. Your chances for pregnancy to occur are higher.  Even, if he didn't ejaculate inside of you.  Have you taken a home pregnancy test?

Best,

Daisy
