I have been suffering from migraines for 10 plus years and they are always on the left side behind my left eye and that is the same eye that twitches and i was just wondering if there was any connection between hemifacil spasm and migraines?

Yes, Anonymous, there is a connection. In fact, there is a type of migraine called a hemiplegic migraine. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke has a good information page on types of migraine: http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/headache/detail_headache.htm and a while back I wrote a couple of articles on migraine here on the site as well: https://www.empowher.com/migraine/content/migraines-explained-triggers-and-phases, https://www.empowher.com/migraine/content/migraines-types-prevention-and-treatment.
We have a migraine section with information and discussion: https://www.empowher.com/condition/migraine.
I hope this all helps answer your question. If you need more assistance, please let us know. Thanks for writing.
