Trying to get pregnant

Since Nov 2016 my fiancé and I were looking to have a baby, and just to note I normally have pretty consistent regular periods. Since trying for a baby , they have become scatty and unpredictable ..which has led me to keep a diary so I can keep track , cycles have been around 26- 27 days cycle which is fine .. But last month it was 35 days ? And I became worried.. Wasn't heavy or painfully just late .. This month I am currently sitting on 35 days again with no period? I'm not stressed , although I have become more active , started running a lot . And the fact we are still trying .. I just think overall I found the dramatic period change not normal , or normal when conceiving?

Dear Anon,

Thank you for your post.

The running may be a factor. Sudden or very strenuous exercise can affect your cycle. So far, you are getting your periods, just a bit later. If otherwise, they are normal in flow and duration, I would not worry.
