Hi, I have a kind of problem which I'm trying to solve and not every doctor of mine are understanding the issue and my GI doctor understands what I'm saying but to my doctor it sounds weird to say this but weird and strange issues are rare to and I don't know what to do exactly. I have pain deep in my stomach muscle and when I press down my stomach I have such severe horrible pain. From deep in my muscle of my stomach I have major nausea and no appetite and I have major pain. Every once in awhile I feel warmth in my stomach from pain and I don't know what to do like this. I don't know which doctor to say this to solve this issue since it's mostly from the muscle. I feel horrible like this and I want to know what do you think I can do exactly and which doctor is best to say this to? I really appreciate your response right away.

Thanks,
Melissa

Hi Melissa,

Thank you for reaching out to the EmpowHER community with your question about the pain in your stomach. It sounds really painful and so I would not wait any longer to go and see the doctor again.

You can explain this to your Primary Care Physician or your GI doctor, but I think an ultrasound of your abdomen will give you a better diagnosis of what is going on internally.

Your symptoms don't sound weird and doctors are used to getting all sorts of questions and women trying to explain their symptoms.

This is definitely something you want to schedule an appointment for soon. Hopefully your doctor will be able to offer you some relief from the pain until they can clinically diagnose what is going on.

Did this help Melissa?

Best,

Kristin
