Recently I have been getting a tight feeling in my tipper chest near my throat as well as a little in my throat. There is no specific time when it happens but mainly after I eat. I'm always burping my food back up and burping up sour stuff. But no burning feeling in chest, no chest pain, no short of breath, etc; I do have mitro valve prolapse but I got it checked a year ago and was told it was leaking very very little. I'm also going on a plane on Tuesday and I am scared and concerned. I do suffer from panick attacks but they come on suddenly.

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
Since your symptoms are related to eating, it may indicate food allergies are sensitivities. I suggest that you see a nutritionist and perhaps get tested for food allergies. If it is not related to diet, you may need to see a Cardiologist because tightness in the chest can also indicate heart problems.
If your diet contains a high percentage of animal fats and processed sugars then it could be a combination of heart issues and intestinal problems.

I did find out I have mitro valve prolapse but it's leaking very little. He didn't say I needed medication or surgery just to excersize and eat healthy. I do get Palipitations often but maybe like.. 5 times a day. No chest pain, no short of breath. Do you think I'm fit to fly? Like will it cause fast heart rate or anything.. I'm very nervous.

I do have mitro valve prolapse that I got checked a year ago, and he said it's leaking very little but did not say that I am in need of any medication or surgery or anything just to excersize more and eat healthy. I am boarding on a plane today. Will it cause any Palipitations or anything? I have REALLY BAD anxiety. And I get Palipitations every now and then but they don't hurt and I don't get short of breath.
