Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
Everyone experiences stress in their lives, this includes pregnant women. If you are under stress or do not have a pristine diet, it does not necessarily mean the baby will not be healthy. Now of course, if you are drinking alcohol, then that would be a serious problem! If you have an eating disorder then that could also cause problems. But, for example, many women have continued in high stress jobs up until their delivery day and still give birth to a perfectly healthy baby.
My friend, for example ate Taco Bell almost every day of her pregnancy because she couldn't stomach anything else. She gained 80 pounds and still the baby was perfectly health.
So long story short, you do not need to do everything perfect in order to birth a healthy child. Just don't smoke or drink. If you have eat issues such as bulimia or anemia you need to seek help asap. You also need to take pre-natal vitamins to avoid any vitamin deficiencies because that could effect that baby as well.
