Ok, I had been on birth control for a while when I was with my boyfriend. We have since broken up and I stopped taking it for a few months. I have gotten into a relationship with another person and started taking my pill again, starting this passed Sunday (May 2, 2010). I am on the first week of my pack. I took my pill as I am supposed to on Monday, had unprotected sex on Tuesday morning (not a full 24 hours after taking my Monday pill) and then forgot to take my pill for Tuesday. It is now Wednesday, the third day of my pack...

What are my chances that I could have gotten pregnant?

I hope my explaination made sense... :/

Hi R

Any time you have unprotected sex you risk pregnancy, and it is difficult to quantify your risk. But I would guess since you made up the pill the very next day, it is not super likely that you are pregnant. The problem comes in where you have gone off and back on the pill. Your hormones may not be stable from the pill yet, so there is that risk.

Good luck.
