I had a hysterectomy almot 4 years ago when my daughter was only 9 months old - I am only 36. I have tried all forms of HRT and I am at my whits end. I am contemplating meeting with a doctor whom specializes in bioidentical testing. I hate it that my insurance doesn't cover it but my husband says it is worth the money to get me back...I somewhat agree. On top of everythings I was diagnosed with ostepenia a year ago. HELP! I need advise.

Hi TinaKove,
When I read your question, I very badly wanted to find research that proves BioIdentical Hormones to be the answer to your problems. However, every article I read essentially said the same thing: There is no proof that Bioidentical hormones are any more effective than standard Hormone Replacement Therapy and they can actually be riskier.
I'd like for you to take the time to read through these so that you can best judge for yourself whether this treatment is or is not best for you:
