Hi Cary the above message is from me Law2759. Which doctor should I speak with my endocronologist or my primary?

I think I would start with the endocrinologist, because that doc probably has more experience with your specific situation. If that fails, I think I would talk to a gynecologist. Unless you have an amazing primary, I'm not sure the primary will be as aware of current, cutting-edge treatments for this type of issue.

That's not a slam against primaries. It's just that they have to know something about everything, which is why sometimes it's better to see a specialist for a specific issue.

Good luck. Please let us know you results, because I'm sure there are others in your boat and the answer will help them.

Hi Law

This must be incredibly frustrating. Have you discussed it with your health care provider? They can do blood tests to check your hormone levels and then based on those results, supplement what is low and that may help.

Please let us know more detail if you are comfortable and we'll try to point you to some resources. But I strongly suggest discussing this with your gynecologist or endocrinologist. Thank you for writing and good luck to you.

I've spoken to my doctor before & he wanted me to try the dhea pills, which hasn't worked, but I haven't spoken to my new doctor regarding this.
