For the past 3 times that I have had a period, I would start every 13 days. They last 7 days. I blame it on stress but I don't know.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing!

These changes in the menstrual cycle can happen from time to time due to stress, lifestyle changes or temporary hormonal changes in the body.

See what happens in the the next month or two. If this irregularity/extra bleeding continues, talk to your gynecologist. You may have a hormonal disorder that can be diagnosed with an exam and some blood tests.

Best,
Susan
