Hello Anonymous,

Breast tenderness is a very common discomfort that comes along with pregnancy. The good news is that there are some comfort measures and lifestyle changes you can make to help ease the pain.

  • Wear a bra that provides good support for your breasts. If you do not wear a bra your breast tenderness can worsen.

  • Rest with a heating pad over your breasts. Some women prefer ice pads so make sure you've tested both.
  • Relax on your back and take deep breaths. Visualize your pain going away.

  • Stop eating salt. Salt can make breast tenderness worse by leading to water-retention.

  • Drink plenty of water to flush out excess fluids from your body.

  • Hope this helps,

    Rosa
