What do you do if you're doing a sailing course, next week, and you've got you're period during the whole of that week?

im kinda young (in teens) and i dont want to use a tampon, i basically do a sailing course for 5 days every summer, whilst staying with my dad, and ive just got my period, and its going to last through the whole of next week, i don't know what to do, and im panicking....

Hi,
I assume your main concern is that you will be wearing a bathing suit, and you obviously do not want to wear a sanitary pad?
Your options are:
- wear a sanitary pad with your bathing suit, and cover up with some cute swim shorts
- wear a tampon
(There are other products out there, like a menstrual cup, but if you do not want to use a tampon, the "cup" could be even more daunting and would take time to get used to--you would want to be close to home for the first time).
May I ask why you do not want to use a tampon?
