what does free fluid POd (+) means on 15th day of my cycle?

PoD stands for the Pouch of Douglas. The Pouch of Douglas is the deepest point in the peritoneal cavity; it is a collection point of fluids during the monthly ovulation and when there is an infection in the peritoneal cavity. This fluid usually dissipates naturally, but if the amount becomes of a concern, it has to be drained using a syringe and a needle by a doctor.
