Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

Your throat will probably feel sore for several days. This can be relieved with over the counter over-the-counter pain medication such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen. You should be able to resume most of your normal activities the day after surgery. Ask your doctor how long you should wait to engage in strenuous activities such as high-impact exercise, etc.
