A septoplasy is a fairly simple outpatient procedure that corrects a deviated septum of the nose.
Different clinics have different procedures about pain management. Some may advise an over the counter pain medication like Advil or Tylenol - others may prescribe a stronger pain medication. Your doctor will let you know this during your pre-op discussion, or you can bring the topic up.
