I've had lower left abdominal pain for weeks. Had blood tests, urine test and pelvic and trans vaginal ultrsound, all is good there. Stopped having normal bowel movements. Pain is really annoying and making me miss work. Dr said get more fibre. The next day I went to emergency, xray show I had a partial bowel obsrtruction on the left side. Enema didn't do anything so he told me to take a stool softener once a day for 2 weeks. 3 days later pain is worse and higher, back at er xray shows stool has broken up quite a bit. Blood tests still fine. I've been eating but still hardly going to the bathroom. I've had diarrhea a couple times each day and now I just had a bowel movement that was complete mush and so very pale in colour, not brown at all..almost greyish and very little. I'm missing weeks of work and not getting any answers. I just want to be regular and normal again. Help!!

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  After having all kinds of tests done and everything seems fine.  But you are still having symptoms. It might be good to get a second opinion, especially from an Gastroenterologist.  He might suggest having a colonoscopy or others test.  To know what can be the cause of your symptoms.

Here are some resources for you
