Thanks for your question. If you asked this question to multiple people, you may get a different answer every time. Technically speaking, if you have your period it is because you are shedding the unfertilized egg (hence the bleeding). However, some women with irregular periods will ovulate soon after your period (remember sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days). Then there are women who experience irregular bleeding and THINK that they are on their period, when they're really not-- ending up pregnant.
If you have a regular cycle, with regular bleeding the chances of you getting pregnant during your period are slim to none. But remember--Pregnancy can occur any time an unfertilized egg meets up with a live sperm cell. Taking a chance is not worth it.
