I get this too but sometimes it happens when I am in a small or crowded room and my heart starts beating really fast. Also when I have been sat down for a long time and I stand up, I get so dizzy I have to either sit back down or hold onto something until the dizziness has gone. I haven't been to the doctor but I have looked few websites and most of them said it has something to do with low blood pressure. Quite a few websites told me to drink about 8 to 10 glasses of water per day and eat plenty of salt. Not sure if it is working but it's still worth a try!

I'm a teenager and this happens to me too, I went to the doctors around 3 months ago, but they dismissed me. it's hard to describe, but all I can say is; when you stand, you suddenly starts to feel weak, you head feels light, and your vision blurs. the whole series is quite draining. I've been looking this up, as I really want to know whats wrong, and I have searched many websites. they all say similar symptoms, but differnt diagnosises, it's very confusing. I've had many days off school, because of this and I want to know what is wrong with me! please, if anyone can help...

Went to dr like 6 weeks ago for head/scalp pain
went to er because thought it was anyuresm. They did ct scan said it was normal. Went back to dr 3 weeks ago said its anxiety and panick. Im freaking out at this point. Was fine for a week then started back up and ears ringing got worse. I went to ent who said I have severe tmj. Then went and had wyes checked and they dialated them and said I was fine.
Went back to er for this weird head pain. They said maybe sinus because they could not do ct again.
I followed up with nuero today who said eeg was normal and that it sounds like occipital nueralgia and says I can get it treated and also said they want mri of cervical spine. I told her im still worried about anuyerm but she assured me I was fine. Here I am after a beer ears ringing loud and I feel unsteady. She said she thinks neck is injured.

I have occipital neuralgia and it is scalp/ head pain as you described it ( mine is on left). It really is so painful that I am not surprised you thought about an aneurysm. The scalp pain can be super intense too. Example: can't brush hair or put hair in pony tail. My cervical MRI showed nothing, but the pain does go down my neck ( so does the occipital nerve, to C2) and radiates down and to shoulder even. For severe TMJ issues you should see a neurologist who specializes in this area and can help you with the occipital nerve pain as well. By the way, nerve pain will make you anxious and panicky, when you don't know what you have it is strange, scary and so painful. Just find a very good neurologist. I went to 3 before I found 'the one'. What you describe is completely different from the problem of dizziness/fainting caused by standing up, standing for a long period of time etc.
I have both problems from a very young age (little kid). The dizziness/fainting has gotten much worse since my neuralgia problems got out of hand. Low blood pressure, hydration, salt intake, I know about all these things. But ever since I was a kid, I have had this and I would sit down on the street in a store; my mom would take me to get a drink and make me eat salt right out of a salt shaker or little salt pack. One piece of advice I have is to never lock your knees while standing, I have never done this but I know this is bad for blood flow and will make you pass out. One person wrote about their arms shaking, etc. I passed out once and experienced shaking of arms, legs after I regained consciousness. Someone said it looked like a seizure, but I experienced it as weakness. I tried to get up but my body couldn't do it yet and the movements I attempted to make were 'jerky', I felt like a sputtering engine. These days, I get dizzy/faint so easily that I have trouble going grocery shopping. I get really hot/sweaty the more faint I feel. I suffer from more fatigue. This stuff has sucked my whole life, but now it's just awful. I suffer from neuralgia in my face and head plus migraines(all on the left side), and I take quite a bit of medicine. I also have mitral valve prolapse, which is a heart condition that is not much to worry about, however it can cause these symptoms. I have been blaming my medications a lot, but it might be time to revisit the heart issue.
