Why does my left foot hurt?

I am 17 years old and my foot started hurting about a month ago! It's so hard to walk on it and I had it checked within the first week it started hurting. They said there is nothing wrong but if there is nothing wrong why does it hurt that bad? I can't avoid from walking either because I have school but I think that's making it worse. I need an answer because this is worrying me a lot!

Hello SabbiCole17,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for asking our help with your complaint of persistent foot pain.

Did the pain result after an injury to your foot? Is the pain persistent or only felt when you bear weight on the foot? Does anything relief the pain, such as elevating your foot? Do you have any medical conditions?
Is the pain localized to your foot or does it radiate up your leg?

Who checked your foot after the pain started? Was it your primary care physician or did you go to a walk in clinic? Was an x-ray of your foot done?

SabbiCole17, I think you need to get a second opinion.

Regards,
Maryann

I don't really do much exercising and I don't get out much either so I haven't hurt my foot or anything. The pain does move up into the leg when I'm sitting down or its propped up. I went to the hospital for it because it worry's me a lot I did get an x ray and they said there is nothing wrong with it
