Worried.. Please help

I am currently 18 and I have never experienced tender breasts as one of my PMS symptoms. According to my period calculator, I am due for period on the 11th of May. I just ended my period on the 4th of April. Recently, I was engaging in some sexual activities with my boyfriend, specifically on the 23rd and 24th April. We kissed and were on top of each other, grinding/humping. We were both fully clothed. I gave him a blowjob afterwards and was touching his penis. It was not wet at all and I asked him too if he ejaculated and he said no. I also did not touch my vagina after that. I am just confused and worried if my breasts are aching because I am pregnant or if it is just some sort of hormonal change. What do you think?

Hello anonymous98,

Thank you for coming to our community with your concern. If this is the only sexual activity you have engaged in since your last period, you could not be pregnant. You and your boyfriend were fully clothed. There was no vaginal penetration with ejaculation, so no risk for pregnancy.

Your body has been undergoing changes since your teen years when you reached puberty and first started to menstruate. Your hormonal levels continue to adjust and that is the most likely reason that you have only now had breast tenderness. This is normal and nothing to worry about.

Maryann

What if he actually released some kind of liquid from his penis? And its kind of worrying me as I feel like my body is giving off pregnancy symptoms. Firstly, how my breasts feel tender and it comes and go. I also have abdominal pain mostly at my lower abdomen but I do have it at my upper abdomen after I eat. I get bloated too after I eat and an increase in passing gas. Sometimes I have this bitter feeling in my mouth too. As much as I dont think I'm pregnant, these symptoms are scaring me. I even did a pregnancy test using the kit on the 14th of April and it stated negative (1 line).

Hello anonymmous98,

Did he or didn't he ejaculate? The only fluid that can be released from a penis is urine, pre ejaculate fluid or semen.

Were you or were you not both wearing clothes when this happened?

You can wait until your period for May is late by at least seven days, and then take a pregnancy test.

If these symptoms are causing you such concern, you can schedule an appointment with your physician.

Regards,
Maryann
