My bro. Had an accident ,he was visiting a family member at the tym,he also has friends in the area he visits as well. however an accident takes place ,the family gets the call nobody wants! So the outcome of the accident is he is now diagnosed with anoxic brain injury. Some family members & friends try to explained to the doctors & other family members how it happened. It's so hard for me understanding his injury & trying to be strong at the same tym. Then later on as he still suffer from his injury ,I run into a concern neighbor, and we began to discuss my bro. and I learn that his injury didn't happen the way they said it did! In this case what do I do ,after you learned they may be other family members involved ?

I thank you for your thoughts and advice. My bro. Cannot speak, walk or anything else. He sometimes open his eyes we are trying to get him out the bed. He has begun contracting. His neck has already began getting stiff. I have talked to a family member. I was wondering if he could feel pain and if he's aware who's talking to him? I'm not sure if he could hear me or even no it's me.

Hi thedivah,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your story with EmpowHER! I am so sorry to hear about the situation with your brother. It can be very difficult to deal with situations where your family member is hurt, especially when you do not know all of the details surrounding it.
At this time, it is important to offer your brother support, but it is also important that you have loved ones or friends supporting you at the same time. I would suggest talking to one of your family members about the situation.
Express that you are concerned about what may have caused the accident. It is important to talk about the situation with a loved one so all of the burden and worry does not fall on you.
Are you and your brother very close? Let him know that you are there to help and support him. Because brain injury is serious, be sure to keep an eye out for symptoms like complaining randomly about a stiff neck, severe headaches, sudden drowsiness, continual vomiting and losing consciousness. These symptoms can be very serious and would require medical attention.
Here is a great article on EmpowHER that talks about what to do when a loved one has a head injury: https://www.empowher.com/anoxic-brain-injury/content/what-should-you-do-if-loved-one-sustains-head-injury.
I hope this has helped! Please keep me updated and let me know if you have further questions.
Best,
