I have had cluster headaches and migraines for the last 25 years. I always seem to get a headache whenever I'm in a hot room, or outdoors on a hot day. I just recently attempted to start working out the last couple of years but cant seem to stay with it because I always get a headache after working out. Until I started working out is when I discovered that my headache was caused due to overheating. I have not found anything that helps to alleviate the pain. I currently take rizotriptin for migraines and it works well if I catch it early enough but it does not work on these cluster headaches. I was reading that a high blood pressure pill can lessen attacks. has anyone found a way to prevent the headaches other than avoiding the triggers?
