Years ago I had a tough time with PMS symptoms – and felt very alone. I had precious few girlfriends that I could really talk to about the pain, discomfort, and emotional stress that came with my PMS, so most of time I had to endure these dark times alone.
Since I created CycleHarmony.com, I’ve come in contact with many women from all over the world who also suffer from PMS or PMDD. Interestingly, most of them thought they were fighting this battle alone as well.
“How strange!” I thought to myself. “If there are so many of us who suffer from PMS – 70% of all menstrual women, they say – why do we feel so alone? Why can’t we support one another?”
With this thought in mind, we’ve implemented a new feature – A PRIVATE SOCIAL MEDIA HOME PAGE for Cycle Harmony members. A place where…
You can share your thoughts, feelings, challenges and what you’ve learned with other women who are in a similar situation – women who can relate to you and understand you.
You can share status update, photos and videos.
You can make friends, and create groups and events.
You can choose who you want to share your information with.
Unlike Facebook, though, you can talk about these private and sensitive subjects without disclosing your true identity – to a circle of friends you choose.
And you can earn points for your good karma by supporting others (coming soon!).
For existing members, you’ll see the new social media feature on your personal home page once you login. You can begin to build your own PMS support system by creating your own profile, connecting with other members, sharing updates and more! You can also access all of your PMS management tools from this page.
For new members, welcome to the Cycle Harmony community! Please feel to contact me if you need any assistance using any of the features on our site.
A journey shared is certainly much more fun and meaningful. I hope we can all learn from one another, support one another, and grow to shine in our most glorious light as women!
P.S. If you ever get lost navigating various features, click on “Social Media” tab at the bottom of the page on the footer bar. It’ll take you back to your home page.
Also, please note that this feature is still a work-in-progress and we’re currently fixing a couple of small issues. So let me know if you notice any areas for improvement. Love you all!

What a wonderful concept!
Now as a post-menopausal woman, I remember that PMS was something that you just dealt with. It was something mentioned and agreed that many of us experienced, but it ended there.
Congratulations on developing a way for women to connect, share and find support. Wishing you continued success as you expand your website.
Maryann
