In 1979 at age 18 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease, I went through Chemotherapy (which in those days was barbaric compared to today's chemo)and Radiation. It was during the same time 3 mile island was exploding and people running away from Radiation I was laying under the machine getting rays of it. 20 years later almost to the day I was diagnosed with Breast cancer and would normally been able to have radiation, but due to my earlier dosages they felt it could cause my breast to be deformed. So that said I had a Trams flap mastectomy and luckily no chemo or radiation. 1 year ago I had a MRI and the dr's found a pea size tumor in my left breast. So Sept of 2008 I had a lumpectomy and Mammosite Radiation. Today at 50 years old I feel good, I do go every 3 months to the doctors for tests but it is worth it to continue my fight against Cancer. I really want to be a person who can help another in any way I can. Someday I would like to do an event that would Empower Women to take control of their bodies and health.

Thank you for commenting so soon, I really didn't change my diet to much at all, I really don't eat a lot of red meat and I do juice each morning.
