Last week I left a consulting job that I’d been holding onto for a couple of years. Even though I’d been preparing myself for this day to come, it still felt a little scary nevertheless.
It’s often not an easy road when you follow your heart because it always requires you to step out of your comfort zone – and your safety net. It requires you to take risks and overcome your fears. It can test your faith, and your strength, to the fullest.
“Jump and you may fly.” These words truly resonated with me in the last couple of days.
Finally I jumped, with both feet off the cliff. Now I’m free, free to follow my passion, and free to create what my heart desires.
It’s both exciting and scary at the same time. I can’t help but notice that my mind has been swinging in-between the old and the new, in-between inspiration and fear, and in-between vision and reality.
Nevertheless, I believe this is the only road to true happiness and fulfillment in life. However uncertain and challenging it may be at times, however scary it may seem at times, it’s the path to my destiny.
Follow your heart. Spread your wings and fly in the open sky…

Thank you for your support Susan! I agree that you're more free to take risks when you don't have children :-)
