OK. It is sooo hot. And you're tired of summer. And you're really tired of trying to be "good" in terms of what you eat. You're about to give up and grab something cold and "bad."
(Yes, I know that it's not "good" or "bad" behavior, that we all should just be enlightened and perfectly attuned to what our body needs as fuel. But in real life, it's how we tend to think: We should be eating salad. That's good. We shouldn't be digging into a pint of ice cream that's got more calories than we use in a day. That's bad.)
But here's a sweet treat for all of us. Women's Health magazine took 9 low-cal frozen treats (sandwiches, fruit-based treats, mini-size, sorbet, fro-yo, and so on) and rated them in terms of taste, listed their cost and calories, and put them in a slide show. This makes me very, very happy. What was No. 1? Klondike's Slim-A-Bear Sandwiches, at 100 calories each.

I won't say which ones, but there are a few on this list I love. Another idea is to freeze grapes or other fruits. I know, I know -- it's not the same as something chocolaty or creamy, and yes they are 'good' for you.
