Installm.#4 The Diagnosis, treatments, Twists & Turns, Bottom Line Prognosis!!!! Today we start with my appointment , with the handsome , sensitive, sexy, & intelligent Dr. R., my past & present Oncologist..After fond greetings, it was right to business. The reports showed that it was Recurrent Breast Cancer in both of my lungs. The left lung contained mostly old but metasticised Breast Cancer cells from the original Breast Cancer cells from almolst 8 years ago. Th right lung showed active cells that had grown and spread
the chances, etc.. First of all, my original Breast Cancer was Stage 4, and the Double Mastectomy biopsys showed that the cells had already gone throught the lymph nodes in the
left arm pit. Biopsies done on the right breast showed two other forms of Breast Cancer that
would have warrented more surgery, had I not opted for the Doubles Mast.. Some of the cells that has gone through the lymph node ducts, landed in my lungs and were the first to
become active. At this point, it is necessary to understand how Chemotheraphy works. If the cells are lying dormant, the Chemo will not kill them, but if they are active-growing and spreading, the Chemo will kill them. Note: Therefore more cells could be, and in my case,
probably lying dormant in other parts of my body. Even with all the new X-ray technologys there is no way to find all of them, hince the diagnolsis of Recurrent Breast Cancer. The hopes were that doing strong Chemos with Steroids would :#1 Eradicate the cancer totally, #2 Slow the growth of the cells, #3 keep the activity limited to the lungs.. Dr.R. and I made the decision to go full steam ahead. Inst#5 to come. Sincerely, Lioness111
