Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
October 4, 2015 - 11:07amI would like to share some treatments that may work for you. Vaginal dryness from menopause is usually caused by a decrease in estrogen. Therefore, there are prescription-only topical forms of estrogen that can improve dryness. These include: Vagifem (vaginal tablet), Estrace (cream), Neo-Estrone (cream), Premarin (cream), Estring (low-dose vaginal ring). Also, use water-based, non-prescription, nonmedicated lubricants.
If none of these options work, you may want to look into hormonal replacement therapy. Below I have posted a link to an EmpowHer Article on "Hormone Replacement Therapy"
