Does your child beg to stay home from school? How would you handle this?

I'd let her stay home.

I'd be business-like. She needs to go and that's that.

I'd worry but I can't just let her stay home.

I'd tell the school she's having trouble so they can be supportive.

I'd make time with her after school, to talk about her feelings.

I'd send her to a therapist.
